In the Midnight hour is more than I had anticipated after reading the blurb. Upon reading the first few chapters I was certainly intrigued to read on.

Ronnie purchases an antique bed, it calls to her, the price tag cast aside due to a tingling sensation Ronnie could not understand, all she knows is that she wanted this bed right or wrong. Valentine's influence has Ronnie purchasing the bed he has been bound to for centuries to uncover more than she could ever have imagined.

MY THOUGHTS.

WOW - I really enjoyed the spin on this story - A ghost - paranormal romance filled with lots of hot stuff, funny moments and romance that will make you sheepishly grin. An intriguing storyline that captured me from the first few chapters and a climax where I was right beside Ronnie wiping away those tears at 3am.

Being a romantic at heart I really enjoyed this story, a great twist in the end with lots of spine tingling moments throughout. Kimberly has cleverly woven the aspects of this paranormal romance to give us excitement, mystery, smexy hot moments, and characters I'm sure that you will enjoy.

Fluent flowing storyline, that will keep the readers interest glued just to find out what's next, a few curve balls thrown in where you think something is going to happen and the next it's a different spin... aka the Axe man - ** hmmm a twist for sure ** But also had me giggling to myself.

I found it had the right amount of emotions are put forth, storyline and even the climax had me sobbing with Ronnie yet the ending ----- ** You must read ** I must say - I was glued to that chair in class wandering - and then ** gasp ** ....

The chemistry that Kimberly created between Ronnie and Valentine was smokin the banter amusing and the loving, caring, and even Valentine in his gentleman ways was **SWOONY ** I really loved his character... ** sigh **

An ending you won't see coming but certainly will make any reader happy and sighing - ** grins **.

I would recommend this book to Anyone who loves Mystery and Suspense!
Karen Roberts is a Fantastic Author, and will keep you on the edge of your seat with this fast pacing book, that I couldn't put down until the end!
I loved it, and look forward to reading many more of her Novels that she has written!
I loved this book. Valentine was hilarious, and I felt so much empathy for him. The sex was steamy and the banter was so entertaining. Just love Kimberly Raye, and this one does not disappoint! If you are looking for a fun paranormal romance, please give this one a try.
I enjoyed the story, the characters. Once I got started I didn't want it to end. I buy the books I truly enjoy so that I may return to the story time after time
This was a wonderful book. Tony and Jessica are great charactors. However I only gave it three stars because was crammed full of typos. Also the character for grace was incredibly annoying. She is so uptight and not at all likable for a heroin.
This boom was a delight to read. Although most stories about ghosts run more towards the horror genre, this one is humorous and sweet. The writer has displayed her excellent ability to create a tale of romance through excellent character dialogue and description. This is a very e entertaining read.
I had several problems with this one
Grace is a juvenile court judge whose daughter is out of control. Grace's solution is to keep grounding Jessica, which is pointless since her daughter ignores her and sneaks out anyway. Gee, Judge Grace, has the word "counseling" ever been used in your courtroom?
Tony has a bad opinion of Grace from the second he meets her, accusing her of child neglect etc. with no basis at all. Why?
Grace is prissy and very controlling. Grace and Tony were such complete opposites that I didn't see an attraction and can't imagine a relationship between them.
I understand that a woman would want to do anything to protect her child. But I didn't like Grace using her position as a judge to get special favors. I live in Columbus; it's a large city and certainly not crime free. Yet Grace had a forensics team at her house over a teddy bear. Then she got police protection for her daughter, including a cop to follow her to school. Even thought she felt the threats were against her daughter she intimated they were against her and threatened to call the DA if her case wasn't given top priority and she got everything she wanted. Considering she's part of the judicial system she might have realized that just because it's her daughter doesn't mean she's any more deserving of these special favors as any other child or crime victim in the rest of the city.
Karen Robards' The Midnight Hour is a story of suspense and romance and contains surprises up to the end. I read the book a long time ago and it was as good to read as it was then. Whoever or whatever set the type, though, made many mistakes involving the lowercase letter l. I don't remember seeing them in the hard copy book when I first read The Midnight Hour. Ufe is life, he down is lie down, mande is mantle. I hope someone will go back and fix the mistakes.
